About OSYWIN

A Middletown practice built around one idea: that psychiatric care and recovery support work better when they are not kept apart.

Meet your provider

Winifred Ogbunamiri, PMHNP, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing individualized care for adults across Delaware.

She works with people living with ADHD, bipolar disorder and other mood conditions, PTSD, anxiety and depression — and with the substance-use difficulties that so often sit alongside them. Her approach is unhurried and practical: understand what is actually happening for someone first, then build a treatment plan around it.

Appointments are available by telehealth, so care fits around work, study and family rather than the other way round.

Why we do it this way

Mental health difficulty and substance use very often arrive together. People are routinely sent to one service for the first and a separate service for the second, then left to hold the two together themselves.

OSYWIN keeps both under one roof. WINN Psychiatry handles assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Renewed Wellness handles outpatient recovery and peer support. The same practice knows your history, so you are not starting over each time.

Families sit inside that, not outside it. When someone is unwell or in recovery, the people around them are carrying a great deal, usually with very little guidance. We work with them too.

We treat adults aged 18 and over, and we work with the families supporting them.

How we work

Four commitments that shape every appointment here.

Licensed and trained

Care is delivered by licensed clinical staff, within their scope of practice.

Confidential and secure

What you tell a clinician stays with that clinician, within the limits of the law.

Evidence-based care

We use approaches with real clinical support behind them.

Family-centered

Where it helps and you agree to it, we bring families into the work.

Who we serve

People come to OSYWIN at very different points.

Families and carers

The people holding it together, who need support and information of their own.

Working with the wider community

Not everything we do happens in an appointment room.

Schools and youth programs

Education sessions for young people on mental health and substance use.

Employers

Workplace mental wellness training for teams and managers.
